Yaari Terms of Use

Last updated: 1 November 2026. These terms apply to the Yaari Android app and the Yaari website. By creating an account you agree to them and to the Privacy policy.

Who can use Yaari

Community rules

Breaking these rules can lead to removal of content, a temporary suspension or a permanent ban. Accounts reported by several people are suspended automatically while we review them. Swear words and slurs are replaced with stars automatically, names and titles that contain them are refused, and repeated spam is held back.

Your content

You keep ownership of what you post and send. You give Yaari permission to store it and show it to the people you choose, only to run the service. You are responsible for what you share. Video calls are not recorded by Yaari, but the other person can still capture their screen on some devices: don't show anything you would not want shared.

Reporting and blocking

You can report or block anyone from a chat, a room or their profile. A report blocks the person at once and our team reviews it. Complaints about intimate images or impersonation are acted on within 2 hours of receipt.

Yaari Plus and passes

Paid features are sold through Google Play. Prices are shown in your local currency before you pay. Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel them in Google Play; cancelling stops the next renewal, and refunds follow Google Play's policies. Deleting your Yaari account does not cancel a Google Play subscription.

Ending your account

You can delete your account at any time (how), except while it is suspended. For 24 hours after a deletion, the same phone number or ID document can't start a new account. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms or the law, and we may change or stop features with notice in the app.

No warranty

Yaari is provided "as is". We work to keep it safe and available, but we can't promise that every person you meet is who they say they are or that the service will never be interrupted. To the extent the law allows, Yaari is not liable for indirect losses arising from your use of the service.

Law and complaints

These terms are governed by the laws of India, without taking away any rights the law of your own country gives you. Questions and complaints go to the Grievance Officer: grievance@yaari.app.

Changes

If we change these terms in a way that matters, we will tell you in the app before the change applies.
